WizWorks

One system, from customer order to dispatch

WizWorks is an end-to-end manufacturing management platform that runs the shop floor — planning, production, quality, inventory and reporting — in one system, working live off your existing Sage 200 Evolution accounting data so nothing is re-keyed.

Built for make-to-order manufacturers who plan, produce, inspect and dispatch against customer orders — a desktop for the office, and a rugged Android handheld for the floor.

Who it's for

Built for the factory floor

WizWorks was built for plants that make to order — where a customer order has to become a plan, a run, a quality record and a delivery, without any of it being typed twice.

  • Make-to-order manufacturers

Plants that plan, produce, inspect and dispatch against customer orders, and want one clean record from order to delivery.

  • Plastics & flexible packaging

Extrusion, printing and bag making are first-class, with piece-to-kilogram maths and a spec template for each product type.

  • Traceability-led producers

Anyone who needs lot traceability, in-process quality checks and first-pass-yield to hold a standard and pass an audit.

  • Sage 200 Evolution users

Businesses already running finance on Sage 200 Evolution that want manufacturing on the same live data, with nothing re-keyed.

How it works

One job, order to dispatch

Every job follows the same clear path — from the order screen to a delivery note ready to invoice — structured and recorded end to end.

  1. 1

    Order

A customer order lands as a Local Purchase Order, colour-flagged by lead time so nothing sits unactioned, then becomes a work order in one click.

  2. 2

    Plan

The work order gets a routing, and each step is scheduled to a machine and operator on a weekly timeline that does the run-time maths for you.

  3. 3

    Issue

The store issues exactly the materials the recipe calls for — scaled to the order and checked against live Sage 200 Evolution stock — behind an approval gate.

  4. 4

    Produce

The floor captures real output at each machine, weighed, scanned or counted, with an over-run guard and an automatic traceability label.

  5. 5

    Inspect

Quality checks the job against a checklist; a pass releases it to dispatch, and a fail is logged and tracked through to closure.

  6. 6

    Dispatch

Passed jobs become numbered delivery notes, reconciled against what was actually produced and loaded, and ready to invoice in Sage 200 Evolution.

Nine connected areas

Planning, procurement, master data, store, production, quality, dispatch, dashboards and reports

They are not nine tools bolted together. Each one hands the next what it needs — the order carries into the plan, the plan into the material issue, the run into the quality record, the pass into the delivery note — so the whole floor works off a single, live picture.

Core modules

One platform, every part of the plant

Everything you need to run the operation, and nothing you don't — each part built for how a make-to-order plant actually works.

Planning & production control

Turn a customer order into a plan the floor can run.

  • Job cards with a full lifecycle and role-gated approval, numbered only on save
  • A drag-and-drop planning board that allows only valid moves, with 72-hour lead-time guards
  • A visual weekly scheduler that estimates run-times and splits a job across machines to finish together
  • Reusable routing templates — define once how a product is made, then apply it to any job

Master data & bills of materials

One catalogue and one recipe behind every job and every cost.

  • A BOM builder with live cost roll-up — per-line cost, total and cost-per-unit as you edit
  • A clear "has BOM / no BOM" indicator, so nothing is ever left uncosted
  • Machines and operations defined once — speeds, cost rates and capture types that drive scheduling
  • A no-code label designer with around 20 live data tokens and a scannable QR code

Material store & inventory

Issue the right materials, and never run out mid-shift.

  • Issue against each job's recipe, scaled to the order and checked against live Sage 200 Evolution on-hand stock
  • A controlled requisition workflow that separates who asks from who issues, with FIFO lot suggestions
  • Low-stock alerts on raw materials, graded critical / low / OK against live Sage quantities

Production on the floor

Capture what really happened, as it happens.

  • A production-manager control tower — every open job, machine and bottleneck on one screen
  • Fast capture by weigh, scan or count, with an over-run guard and an auto-printed traceability label
  • Wastage capture by category, so true yield and the cost of waste are both visible
  • A full lot ledger — every movement a traceable row, with QR lot labels and running balances

Quality management

Build quality into the line, and prove it after.

  • Shop-floor inspections graded pass / fail / conditional — a pass releases the job to dispatch
  • Structured in-process checks per shift, with non-conformance tracking and a manager sign-off
  • Incoming-material inspection with an automatic defect rate, and complaints tracked to closure
  • Quality analytics — First Pass Yield and a defect Pareto over any date range

Dispatch

Get the right goods out, and nothing out uninvoiced.

  • Numbered delivery notes created from completed jobs, with driver, vehicle and method captured
  • Loading reconciliation — what was produced against what was actually scanned onto the truck
  • Uninvoiced-revenue tracking until the Sage 200 Evolution invoice reference is recorded

Sage 200 Evolution, built in

One source of truth with Finance

Manufacturing runs on the same live inventory, customer and costing data as your accounts — no double entry, and no month-end reconciliation between two systems.

WizWorks reads from Sage, and the few things it writes back always stop for a human to approve in Sage first.

  • Live sync on every login — inventory items, average (AVCO) cost, units, customers and stock
  • Goods-received lot receipts flow automatically from Sage into the WizWorks lot ledger
  • Multi-company — save unlimited Sage connections and choose the company at login
  • Controlled write-back, always with a human final approval: create items in Sage, and post stock-takes as an unposted Sage inventory journal
  • Secure by design — credentials encrypted at rest, and routine Sage reads are strictly read-only
  • A live connectivity indicator, and the app keeps working if Sage is briefly offline

On the floor

The whole job, in the operator's hand

The office works on a fast Windows desktop; the floor works on a rugged Android handheld. The operator captures output, picks and receives materials, and dispatches — scanning the QR that was printed the moment the goods were made.

  • A native Android app for capture, picking, receiving, dispatch and QR / barcode scanning
  • Designed for the rugged SUNTEK SM1 handheld, with a camera-based scanner fallback on any device
  • The item QR printed at capture is scanned back at dispatch, as confirmation the right goods loaded
  • Centralised label printing — any device triggers a label, and one print station prints them all at true physical size

Dashboards & reporting

See the whole plant, then prove it

Because every job, capture, check and dispatch is recorded, WizWorks can show you the whole plant live — and then hand you the report that proves it.

  • On-time delivery

The share of jobs dispatched on time

  • QC pass rate

Quality, across the plant and per line

  • Waste %

True yield and the cost of waste

  • Today's output

    Live production against target

  • Work-in-progress

Every open job and where it sits

  • First Pass Yield

Right-first-time, per job and per shift

Ten live dashboards, each filtered to the user's role — from a six-tab Executive Overview to a personal "My Day" for everyone on the floor.

A built-in report library

More than 50 reports across eight categories — each with date filters, and print, PDF and CSV output on every one.

  • Planning & work orders
  • Production & output
  • Store & inventory
  • Material & costing
  • Quality
  • Dispatch & customer
  • Approvals & governance
  • Admin & system

Built for trust

Enterprise governance under a simple surface

Fine-grained access, sign-offs that route themselves, and a complete record of every action — so control and traceability come as standard, not as extra work.

  • Enterprise role-based access — ready-made roles plus custom ones, with per-module rights on every screen
  • A no-code approval designer, and a role-aware inbox that routes each sign-off and advances the document
  • A complete, chronological audit log — who did what, when, and to which record
  • One-click database backup and restore, with no DBA required
  • Secure by design — BCrypt passwords, encrypted connection and licence secrets, JWT-secured device APIs
  • White-label ready — rebrand the product and tagline for partners and resale
