Booked
A job is created in under a minute — cargo type, pickup and drop, customer and rate. A booking deposit can be collected at this point.
WizLane
WizLane is a cloud transport management system built for Kenyan and East African road freight. It runs the whole job — booking, dispatch, driver and vehicle compliance, fuel, delivery and invoicing — on one platform that connects your office, your drivers and your customers.
Built for transport companies, 3PLs, owner-operators and corporate fleets running the Mombasa–Nairobi and EAC corridors.
The problem
Most operators run on spreadsheets, WhatsApp groups and gut feel. The result is lost revenue, compliance fines, grounded vehicles and customers who do not come back.
Drivers get job details over WhatsApp, so there is no record. The accountant is still chasing paper waybills at month-end, and nobody can say where a truck is right now.
Fuel is 30–35% of operating cost. Receipts go missing, siphoning is suspected but impossible to prove, and tyres — the second-biggest cost — are barely tracked at all.
An NTSA roadblock stops a truck whose TLB quietly expired last week. A KRA officer asks for a receipt you cannot produce. The fine, and the grounded vehicle, both cost real money.
Who it's for
If you run the Mombasa–Nairobi corridor, the Northern Corridor to Uganda, or the LAPSSET route to Ethiopia, WizLane was built for your roads.
Fleets of rigid trucks, semi-trailers, flatbeds and tankers moving across Kenya and the EAC corridor.
Handling many customers, routes and compliance regimes at once, without losing the thread on any of them.
Scaling beyond what WhatsApp and spreadsheets can carry — without hiring a room full of clerks.
Teams that need audit-ready compliance records and boardroom-level cost reporting on the fleet.
How it works
Every shipment follows the same clear path — from the booking screen to a paid invoice — structured and recorded end to end.
A job is created in under a minute — cargo type, pickup and drop, customer and rate. A booking deposit can be collected at this point.
A driver and vehicle are assigned with one click, and the driver is notified instantly by SMS, WhatsApp and push.
The driver navigates to pickup and drop while the office follows the status; the customer is kept updated on their preferred channel.
On EAC runs the cross-border papers — C63, COMESA Yellow Card, SGR bond — travel attached to the job, ready at the post.
The driver captures a signed, photographed ePOD at the door — recipient name, signature, photo, GPS and timestamp — the moment the goods are handed over.
Delivery raises a VAT-correct invoice with a payment link, and the whole job sits on a complete, exportable audit trail.
Core modules
Everything you need to run the operation, and nothing you don't — each module built for how Kenyan road freight actually works.
Create, assign and track every shipment on a single screen.
Keep drivers legal, and keep trucks moving.
Know the status of every vehicle before it leaves the yard.
Fuel is a third of your operating cost — track every litre.
Your second-biggest maintenance cost, finally tracked.
Eliminate paper waybills and prove every delivery.
Get paid faster, and stay KRA-compliant.
Every document and every deadline, across the corridor.
Send the right load on the right route — and avoid the fine before you leave.
Communications
The right message reaches the right person at the right time — without anyone in the office having to remember. A driver is assigned, a customer's cargo is delivered, a document is about to expire: WizLane sends it across SMS, WhatsApp and email.
Each contact has a preferred channel, and if a WhatsApp message fails to land, it falls back to SMS on its own.
On the road
Drivers do not need a special device. WizLane puts the job list, navigation, pre-trip checks and proof of delivery on any Android or iOS smartphone they already carry.
Reporting & analytics
Because every job, litre and document is captured, WizLane measures the whole operation — so decisions are made on data, not gut feel.
